Vector - Issues with editable files

Image included in EPS

Images containing non-vector elements in the EPS file, such as JPG assets, are prohibited. Only in the preview image shown on the website the label 'image not included' must be included in a visible and legible location on the JPG preview.

The same applies to rasterized elements in the file, such as shadows, gradients, objects, backgrounds, icons, etc. This may happen when exporting the EPS in older versions of Illustrator.

The images used for the preview must be royalty-free or owned by the author. If there are no commercially free images available, photos owned by Magnific may be used, following the same method (EPS without included photo and preview image with label).

Unwanted elements on the workspace

The asset contains elements outside the artboard that are not part of the illustration, such as reference images, separate parts of the illustration, nodes that may create a white border around the asset, etc.

Functionality problem

All EPS files must be editable, which means that files that do not fulfill this function will be rejected.

The most common functionality problems in EPS files are:

Files that contain embedded images have no functionality, therefore they are not acceptable.
A very frequent error in vector files created by AI is the generation of irregularities in the outlines and poor construction of the elements/layers that compose it, this is a problem because it hinders the process of modifying either the color or shapes.
Vectors that present non-editable texts. An example would be a Flyer or Curriculum, it does not make sense that the added texts are not editable.
