AI generation guidelines
Why are AI-generated images flagged?
AI-generated images may be flagged to keep them within Magnific's Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy and applicable law. In addition, some of the third-party AI models powering our tools apply their own content filters, which may occasionally be stricter than our policies.
Common reasons an image or prompt may be flagged:
1. Violence and harmful content
Images depicting violence, including graphic scenes, injuries, or weapons. Prompts using terms that imply violence or harm may also trigger automated filters.
2. Copyrighted artworks or characters
Images featuring copyrighted characters or artworks, such as well-known animated characters or popular superheroes, or any content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
3. Sexual content
Explicit sexual content. Any sexualized depiction of minors is strictly prohibited and may be reported to the competent authorities.
4. Hate speech and discrimination
Content that promotes hate speech, racism, sexism, or discrimination on any basis, including offensive symbols or language.
5. Harmful or distressing content
Content that promotes or creates a risk of physical or mental harm or emotional distress to any person or animal, or that is intended to shock or disturb.
6. Privacy violations
Images that reveal personal information without consent — addresses, phone numbers, or identifiable photos of individuals — or content used to invade someone's privacy or harass them.
7. Illegal activities
Depictions of illegal activities, or content that encourages or glorifies criminal behavior.
This list is not exhaustive. The Acceptable Use Policy sets out the full grounds on which content may be restricted.
