Can I use AI-generated video commercially?+
Yes. What you generate is yours to use in client and commercial work, with no separate license and no per-use fee.
Can AI-generated videos be monetized on YouTube?+
From our side, yes: you own the clip and there's no license that limits where it earns. Whether a channel is monetized is YouTube's decision under YouTube's rules for AI-made content, which change. Nothing about generating here works against you in that decision.
How do I generate commercially safe AI videos?+
Start from images you have the rights to, generate on a platform that doesn't train on your work and tells you what it was trained on, and keep the ownership terms in writing. All three hold here.
Who owns the videos I generate?+
You do.
Do you train your models on what I generate?+
No.
Do I need an image to start, or can I use a prompt?+
Either, but most people bring an image. About 4 in 5 clips on Magnific start from a frame the user supplied, and 1 in 6 of all clips from a first and last frame. Starting from an image keeps what's in the frame and your art direction. Starting from a prompt gives you range.
How long can a clip be?+
Up to the model's limit, shown in the generator when you pick it. In practice clips are either about 5 seconds or about 10; those two lengths are 7 in 10 of everything generated. Draft short, generate the long one when the motion lands, and extend it if 10 isn't enough.
Does it come with sound?+
Only if you ask for it. Some models generate native audio; the generator marks them. Most clips are made silent and get a voice or a score added after, or don't need one. Both paths are on the page.
Which model should I use?+
The one that does the thing you can name. Motion, a face that holds, speed, native sound, a specific resolution. There's no default, so every clip is a choice, and the table is built to make it in one pass. About a third of all video seconds here go through one model, and the model most people try first is another, which tells you where to start if you can't name it yet.
Can I edit a video after generating it?+
Yes. Upscale it, extend it past its last frame, add a voice, score it, or remove the background, without moving the file anywhere. When people come back to a clip it's to modify a detail, upscale it or extend it, in that order.
Can I generate video through an API or from another tool?+
Both. There's an API for pipelines. And if you work in an assistant like Claude or ChatGPT, connect it to Magnific and ask for the clip there. For video, that route is now about 7 times the size of the API.
What resolution and aspect ratios can I export?+
Vertical 9:16, widescreen 16:9, square, and the portrait and cinematic ratios in between. Vertical is the most generated format here, ahead of widescreen. Resolution depends on the model; the generator shows the maximum when you pick it.
