    About the rebrand

    Is Magnific the same as Freepik? Where did Freepik go?

    Freepik is now Magnific: same company, same team, same platform. Nothing has been replaced or shut down.

    The name change reflects what the platform has become: not just a stock library, but a complete AI creative production platform with image generation, video, audio, upscaling, collaborative tools, and 250M+ assets. Same people, new name.

    Why the name change?

    The platform outgrew the name. Freepik started as a place to find free design resources. Today it is one of the most complete AI creative platforms on the market, used by more than 1 million paid subscribers, from solo creators to major studios.

    Magnific captures where we are and where we are going: a platform built for creative professionals who demand precision and control.

    Is it still the same company?

    Yes. Same company, same team, same headquarters in Málaga, Spain. Same legal entity. Just a new name and visual identity.

    Your account and login

    Do I need to create a new account?

    No. Your existing Freepik account works on magnific.com with the same email and password, or the same social login. There is nothing to set up on your end.

    Can I still log in with my old credentials?

    Yes. Same email, same password, same social login such as Google or Apple. Just go to magnific.com instead of freepik.com.

    I cannot log in. What should I do?

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Go to magnific.com/login.
    2. Use the same email and password from your Freepik account.
    3. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use the same method.
    4. If it still does not work, click Forgot password to reset it.

    If none of this works, email us at support@magnific.com and we will help you get back in.

    Are my projects and files still there?

    Yes. All your projects, generated images and videos, downloads, saved collections, and history are exactly where you left them. Nothing was deleted or moved.

    Will freepik.com still work, or do I need to use a different website?

    freepik.com automatically redirects to magnific.com, so any bookmarks or saved links will continue to work.

    Billing and subscription

    I already have a Freepik paid plan, what happens to it?

    Your subscription remains active with no changes. Your plan, price, billing cycle, and payment method are all unchanged. You continue to have access to everything your plan included, and any future additions will be communicated clearly ahead of time.

    Will my current plan, pricing, or credits change?

    Your current plan remains unchanged. Any future updates to pricing, credits, or plan conditions will be communicated transparently and with advance notice, they will never happen without you knowing first.

    Where can I manage my plan or billing?

    Go to magnific.com → Profile → Plan & Billing. Everything from your Freepik account is there: plan details, billing cycle, payment method, and invoice history.

    I want to cancel. How?

    Go to magnific.com → Plan & Billing. If you have questions about your plan before canceling, contact support and we will help you find the right option.

    Can I get a refund?

    Your satisfaction is our priority, so we offer a refund guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with our services. Check eligibility and details in our Refund policy.

    Magnific.ai users

    I have a magnific.ai subscription: what happens now?

    Magnific.ai is still fully operational for all existing users. Just log in at magnific.ai and everything works as usual.

    Magnific.com is the next chapter: more tools, constant updates, and all the creative power you already know, taken further. Visit magnific.com to explore.

    I have both a Freepik account and a magnific.ai account. What should I do?

    Nothing to worry about, as both accounts work independently:

    • Your Freepik account is now at magnific.com. Same login, nothing changes.
    • Your magnific.ai subscription stays exactly as it is until it expires. No interruptions, no forced migrations.

    When your magnific.ai plan is up for renewal, we would recommend renewing on magnific.com, where you will find the same upscaler plus a lot more: image generation, video, audio, collaborative Spaces, and 250M+ assets.

    AI tools and stock content

    Will AI tools still be available?

    Yes. All AI tools and features from Freepik are available on magnific.com: image generation, video, audio, upscaling, and more. Nothing has been removed.

    Will stock content still be available, or is everything AI-based now?

    Both. Magnific continues to offer the full 200M+ stock library, including photos, vectors, illustrations, icons, 3D, video, audio, templates, mockups, and fonts, alongside AI tools. You can use it exactly as before, with or without AI.

    Did any content get removed?

    No. The full library transferred to magnific.com. If you cannot find a specific asset, it may be due to a search or redirect issue. Contact support with the original URL and we will help.

    Do I still have access to premium content?

    Yes. If your plan included premium access on Freepik, it includes premium access on Magnific. Nothing changes.

    Licenses and terms

    What happens to licenses for content I have already downloaded from Freepik?

    Licenses for content you have already downloaded remain valid. The rebrand does not affect or invalidate any existing license. Content you downloaded under Freepik's license terms continues to be covered under those same terms.

    Will the license agreement or terms of use change?

    There are no changes to your license terms as a result of the rebrand. If any future updates to terms are made, you will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to review them before they take effect.

    Enterprise and Business teams

    Our team uses the Business plan. Does anything change?

    No. Same seats, same pooled credits, same admin panel, same collaboration features. The URL changes to magnific.com, but the experience is identical.

    Does the rebrand affect our Enterprise contract?

    No. Your contract, terms, SLAs, and pricing are unchanged. The platform you use is the same, only the name and domain have changed.

    Does our SSO still work?

    SSO configurations have been updated to work on the magnific.com domain. If your team experiences any access issues, contact your account manager and we'll resolve it immediately.

    Who should I contact about our Enterprise account?

    Your dedicated account manager. If you are not sure who that is, email enterprise@magnific.com and we will connect you.

    API and developers

    Does the API still work?

    Yes. Both api.freepik.com and api.magnific.com work, and your existing API key is valid for both.

    Do I need to update my integration?

    Not immediately. Your current integration continues to work. We have added Deprecation and Sunset headers to the old endpoints so you can plan the migration. The old endpoints will remain functional for at least 6 months.

    Where are the new API docs?

    All documentation has moved to developers.magnific.com. Old documentation URLs redirect there automatically, there's no need to update your bookmarks.

    What is the migration timeline for the API?

    The transition is designed to give you plenty of time to migrate at your own pace:

    Mobile app

    What happens to the Freepik app?

    The Freepik app has been updated and renamed to Magnific. If auto-updates are enabled on your device, you will see the new name and icon automatically. Same features, new look.

    Do I need to download a new app?

    No. The existing app updates to the new brand. If you do not have auto-update enabled, update it manually from the App Store or Play Store.

    I still see the old Freepik app. Is something wrong?

    The update may take a few days to reach all devices. The old app continues to work normally in the meantime. You can manually check for updates in your app store.

    Does my in-app subscription change?

    No. Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Play Store continue unchanged.

    Contributors

    I am a contributor. Are my earnings safe?

    Yes. Your earnings, payout schedule, payment method, and author page are all preserved on magnific.com. All /author/ page URLs redirect correctly. If you notice anything off, contact support immediately.
