Windows
- 1Download the free ZXP Installer from aescripts, available for Windows and macOS.
- 2Download the Magnific .zxp file.
- 3Drag the .zxp into ZXP Installer, restart Adobe After Effects, and open Window > Extensions > Magnific.
macOS
- 1Download the .pkg installer. It runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel.
- 2Open the .pkg and follow the steps. It detects your Adobe After Effects installation automatically.
- 3Open Adobe After Effects and find Magnific under Window > Extensions > Magnific.

- The plugin requires After Effects 2024 (v24.0) or later and runs on Windows and macOS.
- Open Adobe After Effects and go to Window > Extensions > Magnific. If you don't see it, make sure Adobe After Effects was fully closed during installation and your version is supported.
- Yes. Sign in from the panel with your existing Magnific account, or create one for free at magnific.com.
- Yes. The plugin runs on the same credits as the web platform, and everything you generate is saved to your Magnific history.
- Yes, you'll need an active internet connection while generating. Results land straight back in Adobe After Effects.
- Close Adobe After Effects completely and run the installer again. On Windows, try running the installer as administrator. On macOS, check System Settings > Privacy & Security if the installer is blocked.
